The Soufan Center (TSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving as a resource and forum for research, analysis, and strategic dialogue related to global security issues and emergent threats. By providing a non-partisan forum for public, private, philanthropic, academic and NGO sectors, TSC creates a space that allows for the identification, analysis and discussion of issues, facilitating dialogue with the aim of creating a comprehensive approach to greater human security.

Through its role as an investigative and analytical resource, a broad range of complex issues facing civil society are examined in the focus areas of: International Conflict and Transnational Security, Homeland Security, Law Enforcement and Domestic Threats, Human Rights & Rule of Law and Cybersecurity. TSC was founded by former FBI Supervisory Special Agent, Ali Soufan, a leading national security and counterterrorism expert who serves as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council.

Lori became an inaugural member of the Board of The Soufan Center in 2020, and leads its Budget and Development committee.
